Known for their comprehensive road and commuter collections, Altura has returned to the trails once more with an all-new AW21 off-road wardrobe for all genders. We've gotten our mitts on the latest goods to talk you through the new range, which is bursting with some cool features.
Merino 50 Unisex Baselayer
A staple piece of kit for winter is a quality baselayer. The Altura Merino 50 Unisex long-sleeve offers thermoregulation to help keep you both warm and cool when riding. The flatlock seams are comfortable against the skin while remaining durable use after use.
Suitable for all genders, this fitted baselayer is available in sizes XS to 2XL, accommodating chest sizes from 35" to 47.5".
Esker Trail Men's Jersey
To help keep the wind at bay, the Esker Trail men's jersey is a long-sleeve option. This mid-layer uses a Polartec PowerGrid™ windproof front panel, finished with a durable water-repellent coating. The long sleeves and back panel are also packed with warm thermal properties.
With two colourways to choose from, the Esker Trail jersey is available in sizes S to XXL, which fits chest sizes from 36.5" to 47.5".
Esker Trail Trousers
The Esker Trail Trousers are constructed from strong, lightweight fabric, offering full-length protection from the elements. The articulated knees ensure unrestricted movement while providing room for knee pads to be worn underneath. The tapered cut offers a close fit at the ankle to help keep the draught and spray away.
Along with a zipped thigh pocket for stashing away essentials, the Esker Trail Trousers are finished with a water-repellent coating. These trousers are available for all genders, with the men's featuring a full-fly closure at the waist.
Escalade Women's Gilet
Here's a piece just for the women. The Escalade gilet is a definite core-warmer for winter riding. Lined with luscious brushed fleece, this gilet offers freedom to move while you're on the go while giving you the option to layer it up on chillier days. There are two spacious zipped pockets on the front for your essentials, and the whole garment is coated with a water-repellent finish.

Esker Waterproof Packable Jacket
This versatile and lightweight jacket is an ideal option for interchangeable weather conditions. This 5k / 5k Waterproof and breathable jacket is designed to be packed away small for easy storage in a backpack or frame bag.
There's a zipped check pocket for essentials and an adjustable hood compatible with helmets. There are overlapped vents on the front and rear with a mesh layer for extra breathability.
The men's Esker Waterproof Packable jacket is available in sizes S to 3XL, with the women's version suitable for UK sizes 8 to 18.
Ridge Waterproof Jacket
A comfortable winter ride is almost impossible without a practical waterproof jacket. Altura's Ridge waterproof uses Pertex® 2.5 layer fabric with waterproof, windproof and breathable features. Breathability is aided by the gill-like vents on either side of the jacket and the lightweight back panel.
As for keeping the water out, the seams are full-taped on the inside to prevent water ingress and the elasticated cuff and cuff tab ensure water and wind won't shoot up your sleeves as you ride.
The 20k / 20k waterproof and breathable Ridge jacket features a helmet-compatible adjustable hood, which can be comfortably placed and fitted to offer additional weather protection.
The Altura women's Ridge jacket is available in sizes UK 8 to 18 in a navy colourway, while the men's version is available in sizes S to 3XL in blue and green colour options.
Ridge Tier Men's Waterproof Trousers
For when the weather really closes in, and you're feeling brave enough to ride, the Ridge Tier waterproof trousers from the new Altura collection offer 5k / 5k waterproof and breathable properties.
Cut with a tapered leg, articulated knees for freedom of movement and elasticated cuff to keep the weather out, the Ridge Tier trousers are designed for all-out winter adventures. There are two handy zipped side pockets, which are also fully waterproof for ride essentials.
These waterproof trousers are available in sizes S to 2XL, accommodating waist sizes from 32.5" to 43".
Cave Softshell Hoodie
If you're looking for a warm and versatile jacket that looks good on and off the bike, the Altura Cave softshell Hoodie is a strong contender. With super stretchy 4-way fabric and a cosy brushed fleece lining, the Cave hoodie is ideal standalone or as part of a layering system, especially when coupled with a waterproof jacket.
