Madison DTE Gauntlet Waterproof gloves
£40
Kicking off the first 5 cool things of 2022, we've got the DTE Gauntlet Waterproof gloves from Madison. They're designed for use deep in the winter season to keep your digits toasty, even when it's anything but outside.
They're built with Thinsulate thermal insulation and get a 100% waterproof material that's also said to be breathable. As expected from a riding glove, there are silicone grippers on the index and middle fingers, and something that's often overlooked, a big sweat wipe.
MET X ION Traze Amp MIPS helmet
£145
Next up is the MET X ION Traze Amp MIPS helmet. It's the culmination of the two brands' collaboration to create a helmet that's ideal all-mountain and enduro riding. It comes sorted with an adjustable fit system, a Fidlock magnetic buckle and there's channeling built into th interior of the helmet to boost airflow. There's also a handy sunglasses port and plenty of space for goggles underneath the adjustable visor.
Muc-Off Tubeless Valves V2
£25
Back in June last year, Muc-Off introduced the revised Tubeless Valves. They now use lighter materials and are compatible with tyre inserts thanks to slotted channels at the base of the valve.
The valves come in 10 different colours so you can get proper colour codey and in the box there's a valve remover tool built into a spare valve cap, so you can have the tool with you whenever you're out on the bike.
Muc-Off Rim Stix tyre levers
£5
In keeping with the theme of Muc-Off's tyre gear, here are the brand's Rim Stix tyre levers. They're built for maximum leverage and strength without the risk of wrecking your rims or pinching your tubes. The tips of the levers are engineered with what Muc-Off reckons is the perfect scoop angle and there's a recess underneath to further help get the job done.
That's not all, because built-in, you'll find a spoke hook and an emergency valve core tool.
Green Oil bike care
£4 - £15
Last but definitely not least, Green Oil has sent us some of the eco-friendly bike care goodies on offer. We'll be putting the brand's chain wax, wet lube, Agent Apple Degreaser and EcoSpray Lube through their paces to see if these eco and wallet-friendly alternatives pack the punch needed to keep bikes running lovely and smooth.
