Previously Editor here at off-road.cc, Rachael is happiest on two wheels. Partial to a race or two Rachael also likes getting out into the hills with a big bunch of mates. In the past Rachael has written for publications such as, Enduro Mountain Bike Magazine, Mountain Biking UK, Bike Radar, New Zealand Mountain Biker and was also the online editor for Spoke magazine in New Zealand too. For as long as she's been riding, she has been equally happy getting stuck into a kit review as she is creating stories or doing the site admin. When she's not busy with all the above she's roasting coffee or coaching mountain biking in the Forest of Dean.

Looks like a well thought out spec for a decent price.  Might be one for the missus.

It does grate when you describe a bike as being "lightweight" and then keep the actual weight a secret.

Not keeping it a secret at all. Weight matters less when it comes to E-Bikes. We haven't had chance to weight the new bike but our older model was around 14kg (medium without pedals). Which is not light by bicycle standards but competitive by E-Bike still. The new model should be give or take the same, possible a couple hundred grams heavier due to the wide rim and steel axle hub.

Will this benefit from the Fazua 250X battery? That would fix the problem of having to drop the battery out to restart it once it's gone to sleep - for example when the bike is stood idle during work prior to commuting home?

Matt, Any news on when we can expect the full review? And delivery times? Looks like a really interesting bike, and I'm looking to buy. And the weather is warming up.

"Our resident gravel reviewer Matt will soon have a bike for review so check back soon to hear his thoughts."

Um, how soon?

The Cairn e-adventure is not likely to be tested soon now, although the Cairn BRAVe will be very soon.
