Canyon's Global Communications Manager, Ben Hillsdon, has told us that the reason behind the lowered retail prices is because of a combination of factors lowering the costs.
"We’re always looking at how and when we can offer better value for customers around the world. On this occasion, we’ve been able to reduce the price of bikes across the board for UK customers.
"This is due to a combination of things – better exchange rates, shipping costs, customs charges – all contributing to mean we can drop the prices of our bikes in the UK.
"These aren’t sale prices, by the way, so yes, we can expect these prices to be stable for quite some time," Hillsdon explained.
All of this means that you can now, for example, get a Canyon Spectral CFR 29 mountain bike for £6,199, saving you £300. For those after the best gravel bike, the top-end Grail SLX8 Di2 gravel bike has been reduced from £5,249 to £5,099.
The price updates impact a wide range of models across Canyon’s range, and you can see what is available on Canyon’s website.
