All of the new Neuron CF builds come equipped with 140mm of suspension travel at the front with 130mm at the rear. Canyon's engineers has designed the bike around both 650b and 29" wheels based on the size of frame that suits you best.
That means that frames sizes up to S rolls on 650b wheels whereas M and larger get 29" hoops. The brand has done this because it thinks that it helps offer a consistent ride across the range of sizes.
Moving onto the components, the baseline CF 8 models are built with Fox 34 Performance forks, with Fox Float Performance DPS shocks. They're driven by Shimano's SLX 12-speed drivetrain and stopped with SLX brakes. Then, they roll on a pair of DT Swiss XM 1700 alloys wheels.
Upping the price a bit, the Neuron CF 9 gets an upgraded Fox 34 Performance Elite fork with a Fox Float Performance shock. It benefits from a Shimano XT 12-speed groupset with matching four-pot brakes and lighter DT Swiss XMC 1700 carbon wheels.
Topping the range is the Neuron CF 9 SL which gets the dream build. Therefore, you'll find Fox Factory suspension, wireless SRAM GX AXS shifting with Code RSC brakes and DT Swiss XCM 1501 carbon wheels.
Prices for the new Neuron CF range start at £3,000 and go up to £4,900 for the CF 9 SL model.
