Felt Bicycles introduce two new gravel bikes - the Breed 20 and Breed 30
Felt have just launched two new aluminium gravel bikes, the Breed 20 and Breed 30. They are designed for bike packing and long gravel rides with both being able to accept 650B or 700c wheels. Felt are calling it a gravel race bike, we reckon it looks pretty versatile whatever you want to do with it.
Breed 20
Of the two bikes, the Breed 20 is the more expensive at €2,499. It's kitted out with a 1 x11 SRAM Force drivetrain, Praxis Works Zayante crankset and Force Hydraulic brakes. This bike comes set up with 650B wheels and WTB byway tyres which are 47c wide. Finishing kit comes in the form of size specific Devox bars and stem, Devox seatpost and a Prologo Nago X10 saddle.
Breed 30
At €1,999 the Breed 30 is equipped with a Shimano 105 groupset including hydraulic brakes. It's a 2x11 setup with a 48/32T Praxxis Works Alba crankset. Also sticking with 650B wheels the Breed 30 has a Devox GR2.1 wheelset and 47C WTB Byway tires.
Both bikes get through axles front and rear, 27.2" seat posts, flat mount brakes, internal cable routing and carbon forks. There are rack and fender mounts aplenty and there are three sets of bottle cage bosses inside the frame and a set for a top tube bag too.
There are six sizes to choose from ranging from a 47cm to a 61cm options with the smaller bikes getting slightly slacker head angles and steeper seat tube angles than the larger bikes.
