After a brief hiatus, Five Cool Things is back, showcasing the coolest kit that we've had make its way through our office and off to our testers for review. This week, we've got a blingy Cube e-MTB, some cycling-specific pants, a pair of stealthy flat pedal shoes, and a steel gravel bike rife with cool details.

MET Crossover

First up we've got the MET Crossover helmet. MET has branded it the Crossover as it's apparently two helmets in one. Using hidden clips, the visor can be installed, priming the helmet for any off-road riding you're about to embark upon. Remove the visor and you've got a sleek, aero helmet for maximum speed. This rather budget-friendly lid comes sorted with an in-mould plastic shell and a polystyrene inner, along with an integrated LED at the back and a reflective strip.
7Mesh Foundation Pants

Then we've got some... Pants. But not just any pants, the 7Mesh Foundation underwear comes in boxers for blokes and a women's brief. Both models come with a low profile, slim pad and are claimed to be ideal for those who don't want to commit to a full chamois.
Cube Stereo Hybrid 160 HPC Actionteam 625 27.5

The Stereo Hybrid 160 HPC is Cube's heavy-hitting enduro e-bike that comes with a Fox Factory 38 with a FIT4 damper offering 170mm of travel. Out back, there's 160 supplied by a Fox Factory DPX2. It's driven by a Bosch Performance CX Gen 4 motor and powered by Bosch's biggest 625Wh Powertube battery. Check out the First Look here.
Scott MTB AR shoes

We've got the Scott MTB AR shoes with the hopes that they'll make it into an upcoming 'Best MTB shoes for under £100' piece. At £90 these shoes are the flat pedal model that comes with a polyurethane upper with mesh panels for cooling with a Sticki Rubber outsole. The AR in the name stands for 'all-rounder' and we're looking forward to seeing if they stack up to the claim.
All-City Gorilla Monsoon

You might say we've left the best till last but we're definitely not biased here but it does carry an awesome name. The All-City Gorilla Monsoon is a steel-framed gravel bike that's rife with cool details, the most obvious of which being the rather unique biplane fork. It comes with beefy 2.25" tyres, a SRAM Rival drivetrain and Halo Vapour wheels. We've got a First Look for this one that can be found here.
