The Sterling Edition Mezzer Pro is basically the same old fork we all know and love, but with a special, limited colourway. It's not just any old paint job, however. To make this finish that extra bit distinctive is that each lower and crown is polished by hand prior to painting. This results in a much smoother finish.
Just like the usual Mezzer Pro, the Sterling Edition uses 37mm stanchions and is just as tunable as it uses the same Dorado Air system and Infinite Rate Tune (IRT for short).
The IRT acts as a secondary positive air chamber which provides control over the mid-late stroke of the fork. This allows riders to tune the initial part of the stroke independent of the mid-late section without sacrificing mid-stroke support.
It also replaces volume spacers and as such, it's said to provide a much smoother bottom out.
Damping is covered by Manitou's MC² camper with high and low-speed compression and low-speed rebound, which are all adjustable externally. Included is also a factory set hydraulic bottom out to give riders an extra level of control for the proper gnarly stuff.
On the back of the fork, you'll find a couple of bleeder screws for on the fly fork lower bleeds. They double as an oil injection port too, in case you need to give you seals an oil in between service intervals.
The Sterling Edition of the Mezzer Pro is limited to 250 unit globally and are only available through the brand's dealers.
If a super limited fork is right up you're street, it'll set you back £1,140.
