Mason teases its new Macro mountain bike at CyclingWorld 2024
Mason, the brand behind the Bokeh and RAW has sneakily shown us its brand-new bike, the Macro. Previewed at this year's CyclingWorld, the Macro looks primed for big-distance riding – something which has already been proven with Josh Ibbett taking 8th at the 2024 Atlas Mountain Race. Here's what we know so far.

- What is the spirit of gravel biking?
Mason's new bike, the Macro, is designed to be a lightweight bikepacking machine and this prototype is built around an aluminum frame that pays homage to Dom Mason's (Mason's founder) roots in mountain biking.
The brand places the Macro between the RAW and the Bokeh serving as a 29-inch wheeled, flat-bar bike. Mason stresses that the Macro is not an adapted cross-country bike but rather purpose-built from a fully custom Dedacciai tubeset as well as a HotShoe2 fork that gets all of the mounts.
Alongside the Macro, Mason will be showing the rest of its bike range as well as exhibiting a collaboration between itself and Strandberg guitars that has resulted in Strandbergs Boden Meloria Travel Guitar.
Back to the Macro, it's said that it will be available to the public but for now, the date is TBC.
