Pivot describes the new cross country hardtail as a race bike bullet train. It's claimed to rock the lightest production hardtail frame in the world with a super low standover. The new bike is also said to offer a best-in-class stiffness-to-weight ratio.

Pivot's new LES SL frame is said to be the lightest production hardtail frame built to date, shedding a full 300 grams against the previous iteration, weighing in at just over 800 grams. The brand says that these weight savings come after years of research and development from the designers.
Helping with the frame's weight, the frame benefits from a lightweight integrated headset, internal cable routing with Pivot's Cable Port system and the bike is compatible with the brand's Tool Dock system with mounts under the top tube and bottom bracket.
The frame benefits from a high-level tube and carbon layup that helps trim excess weight but Pivot reckons it also improved ride feel, speed, and performance against the previous bike. While compliant vertically to keep things comfy mid-race but it doesn't sacrifice power transfer and efficiency.
The LES SL gets an update to its geometry, featuring a longer reach, steeper seat tube in a bid to maximize efficiency and capability. A large frame gets a 460mm reach, a 68.5° head tube angle, and a 74.5° seat tube angle.
As for sizes, there are five available from XS up to XL. It's also available in two colours, Black Sunset and Blue Ribbon, and there are six builds on offer with prices ranging from $4,999 (~£3,800) up to $9,799 (~£7,480).
