Schwalbe have introduced their new Super range of new tyre casings with the aim of making choosing the right tyre easier but does it work? Our Jon runs you through the key details of the range in this video.

Schwalbe's 2021 casing line up looks, er, super..... with five new carcasses to choose from: Super Downhill for downhill riding and lots of stability, Super Gravity for enduro bikes, a robust tyre that is claimed to be smooth, Super Trail which claims to be the all-rounder of the bunch, Super Ground which is for general cross country riding and then Super Race for the cross-country racers.

In the video Jon explains the difference between all of these options plus gives ideas for you about tyre combination to use choosing from the Magid Mary, the new Big Betty and of course the revised Nobby Nick. He also goes 'super geek' and whips out his durometer to measure how hard the tyre rubber. He also measures sidewall thickness and compares the tyre range. Enjoy.....
