Much like the recently updated Scout, Nukeproof's gravel bike, the Digger has developed its own group of followers. Last updated in 2018, 2022's iteration of the Digger adopts a fresh range of kit and has received changes to its geometry to bring it right up to date.

The new Digger is built around a 6061-T6 hydroformed aluminium frame with internal cable routing and plenty of clearance, allowing for tyres up to 700x45C or 650bx47C tyres. Also new for the frame is a shorter seat tube on all sizes, ranging from 460mm up to 630mm, which allows room for internally routed dropper posts. This bike is 1x specific too.

That's not all as there are thru-axles at both ends with a 12x100mm up front and 12x142mm at the rear. The new Digger also sees in a range of rack and pannier mounts, including an accessory mount on the top of the top tube and mounts for two bottle cages in the front triangle.

At the rear of the bike, there's a 3D contoured rubber chainstay protector and moving towards the front, there's a high modulus T700 HM-UD carbon fork, boosting compliance. Although, if that's not enough compliance for you, the RS model is equipped with RockShox Rudy Ultimate XPLR suspension fork with 30mm of travel.

As mentioned before, the 2022 Digger has had a bit of a revision to its geometry. As such, the bike now sees in a 423.71mm reach with a 610mm effective top tube on a large frame. Along with those, there's a 72.41° actual seat tube angle, a 67.41° head tube angle, and a 430mm chainstay across the size range.

There are three models in the new Digger range with the RS model benefitting from the Rudy fork, SRAM Rival 1 shifting, DT Swiss GR1600 Spline 25 wheels and Schwalbe G-One Bite tyres. Then there's a Brand-X dropper post with 125mm of drop. Sitting at the middle of the range is the Factory model which gets the carbon fork, Shimano RX-810 GRX 11-speed shifting and DT Swiss G1800 Spline 25 wheels. Everything else matches the RS build.

Finally, the Comp come gets all of the goodness of the Factory model but receives a Shimano GRX RX-600 drivetrain, Nukeproof wheels and loses the dropper post.

Prices for the Digger start at £1,800 for the Comp, the Factory sits at £2,400 and the RS tops the range at £3,000.
