Updated for 2023, Funn MTB components has released the second generation of the Python pedals. Made from forged AL6061 and weighing in at 375g, the flat pedals have gone through some refinements.

With a platform size of 100mm x 110mm x 10.5mm, the Python is available in six different colours (blue, red, green, orange, grey, and black). The pedal has been redeveloped in collaboration with professional riders to produce what the brand describes as something that offers 'exceptional strength, durability, and performance for riders of all levels.' 

Once created, the pedals undergo a CNC process to trim the weight. Further improvements include an optimised profile for 'improved efficiency and shoe-to-pedal contact.' Made with serviceability in mind, the Phyton pedals include a cartridge axle system for ease of removal and replacement, allowing users to service at home.
