Last weekend's mountain biking event marked the final race of the 2023 season and despite the horrific conditions, Nino Schurter did it again and won his ninth World Cup title. However, that's not all, as the weekend's racing turned out to be a stellar show for Scott's racing team with downhiller Marine Cabirou returning after injury to end up in the third spot on the podium.

Mont-Saint-Anne's proved to be one hell of a finale to the cross-country and downhill season with Nino Schurter once again arguing a solid case as to why he's the most consistent rider in XCO having won his ninth World Cup Overall title.
The title came down to the very last race of the season as Jordan Sarrou and Mathias Flückiger hot on Nino's heels. The weather came in to put on a serious show, with a heavy rainstorm making the event not only incredibly unpredictable but also one for the history books.

It wasn't plain sailing for Schurter however, as he picked up a mechanical that meant his chain struggled to stay in place. However, Flückiger suffered numerous flat tyres, keeping Nino in contention. Schurter may have only finished 14th, but it still secured him his ninth World Cup Championship.
British talent Tom Pidcock took another win whereas regardless of his punctures, Flückiger got second. Marcel Guerrini put himself in third.
As for the Elite Women, Loana Lecomte was first Jenny Rissveds finished second and Puck Pieterse stepped atop the final step of the podium.

The weekend was a big one for Scott's athletes as the team's female downhiller, Marine Cabirou took full advantage of her 'go big or go home' mentality that gained her a big advantage in the early splits. Although she did slip a pedal, and her hands went into the final woods section to eventually take a spill late into the run, ending her 2023 race season a little earlier. Regardless, she kept her 3rd place in the overall standings.
Elsewhere, already crowned women's champ, Vali Höll took the win, Nina Hoffmann got second and Veronika Widmann ended up third.
As for the men's downhill, young gun Jackson Goldstone nailed his second win of the season, Ethan Craik finished second with Frenchman Loic Bruni claiming third.
