7iDP has released two new full faced helmets with either a carbon or fiberglass shell. Both boast ASTM (DH) certification, 23 vents, and a featherweight construction making the Project.23 helmet capable of full DH runs and enduro transition stages.

Protecting its EPS foam core, the Project.23s shell comes in either carbon or fiberglass. Like its namesake, there are 23 full bore air vents that allow air to flow from the front of the lid out to the back.
7iDPs choice in materials balances weight with protection. As a result, the carbon Project.23 weighs in at 945 grams while the fiberglass version weighs 1060 grams in a size L.
After loads of research into what other brands offer to reduce energy impact and rotational force impact, the brand has introduced SERT. SERT is the 7iDPs' solution to rotational force impact and it reduces energy transfer to the brain by 20% compared to an EPS liner alone.
The Project.23 helmets feature a Crash Release Visor (CRV) which releases during an impact but because it doesn't use any bolts it can easily be snapped back on unless it's damaged beyond repair. Additionally, there are no bolts to shear and get stuck in the helmet.
Inside, the helmet uses an Aegis anti-microbial liner which is quick-release for easy washing. There's also a Goggle Dock for goggle fit and stability. TF (through flow) aids ventilation around the google which helps with fogging.
The carbon model comes in either Raw Carbon/Gloss Grey or Raw Carbon/Gloss Blue colourways and will cost £270. It'll also come with a padded bag.
As for the fiberglass version, it comes in matt Blue/Gloss Grey, Matt teal/Gloss Black, Matt Dark Red/Gloss Red and Matt Grey/Gloss Black. It'll cost £180.
Both lids will be available in sizes XS (53-54cm), S(55-56cm), M(57-58cm), L(59cm-60cm), XL (61-62cm) and XXL (63-64cm).
