CushCore now comes in a Trail specific build
Since its release, CushCore has become the Hoover, or Jacuzzi of the tyre insert world, providing vital rim protection and tyre support for riders everywhere. Now, the brand has expanded its range with CushCore Trail, tyre inserts designed especially for the needs of the trail rider. Here are all of the details.

CushCore Trail promises to deliver all of the benefits of the brand's more gravity and cross country focussed options but it comes in a size and shape that's been tuned specifically to suit the needs of trail riding.
The new tyre insert also comes with a range of features that we're yet to see on any of that brand's other models. Those include fluted sidewalls that CushCore says creates progressive cornering, so the harder you corner, the more support you'll get. There are then centrifugal channels that are designed to increase air and sealant flow around the tyre, and there's a valve notch that allows the insert to sit flat on the rim, regardless of its design.
On top of all that, CushCore Trail comes with inner channel notches to reduce weight and further improve sealant distribution. Coming in 650b and 29in sizes, it's said that CushCore Trail weighs 199g and 212g respectively.
CushCore Trail is said to offer a range of benefits to your riding experience. The brand reckons that its tyre inserts improve suspension performance by 16% and reduce force from big impacts by 50%. It's then claimed that side wall stability is boosted by 35% and it offers a 12% smoother ride with 3% less rolling resistance.
The CushCore Trail tyre inserts will retail at £170 for a pair and £90 for singles. Sets come in both 650b and 29in sizes, with a mullet option on offer.
