PNW Components introduces the Satellite Saddle Bag
Earlier this year, component brand PNW Components added women's clothing to the range and now, the company is expanding further to include some bikepacking essentials. Today PNW has introduced the Satellite Saddle Bag, a water-resistant, dropper-friendly pack that'll suit any ride.
- Bikepacking basics: bike repair and first-aid kit
- 13 of the best ways to attach gear to your mountain or gravel bike
- Bikepacking kit on a budget: everything you need to bivvy for under £100
PNW's new Satellite Saddle Bag is built using a DWR coated tri-layer sailcloth that's been made from 100% recycled polyester. With that in mind, it's designed to keep your essentials dry which is mega important, being right in the firing line of rear wheel flung muck.
The saddle bag utilises an adjustable hook and loop strap to keep itself hung on your saddle's rails and a bungee attachment keeps the bag secured around your seat tube. This adds additional security and it's been designed with dropper posts especially in mind, to avoid wrecking stanchions. It's removable too. PNW claims that this pack weighs in at a measly 55g.
“Everyone needs more places to put stuff, so we made another place to put stuff. Whether it’s tools or tacos, you’ll find no judgment here. We make the bags and you do you.” -Todd Cannatelli, CEO, PNW Components
PNW Components new Satellite Saddle Bag will set you back $39 USD or around £32 in UK money.
